I checked the bike over a bit more today and it looks like both brakes have lost all four in them and don't work and the radiator has not fluid left either so I have decided that it may be better to get a professional to look it over and get it ready for the MOT.
I bought a new battery today which I am able to change so I will fit it when it arrives later this week and the new number plate should arrive tomorrow.
I will give the mechanic a call tomorrow too and see what he thinks is the best option.
